Care & Maintenance

Natural stone is porous, so sealing is an important part of installation and long-term maintenance. A penetrating stone sealer should generally be applied before grouting and again after installation to help protect the stone from moisture and staining. Periodic resealing may also be necessary depending on traffic, exposure, and the sealer being used.

For regular cleaning, use a pH-neutral cleaner made specifically for natural stone along with a soft sponge, microfiber cloth, or non-abrasive brush. Avoid vinegar, acidic bathroom cleaners, harsh chemicals, and abrasive cleaning products, which can etch or damage natural stone.
